Cotton Flower pods are the botanical seed pods from the Gossyouyn hirsutum plant.  The pods look like flowers, and they are the product of the plant material that is left over after the cotton is removed.  Five cotton flower pods per bag.

Preparation for Aquarium/Paludarium Use:

1. Boil: Boil the pods for at least 15 minutes to help them sink and leach initial tannins.

2. Soak: Soak in clean water overnight or longer if needed, changing the water daily, until they are fully waterlogged and the desired amount of tannin has been leached.

3. Ready to Use: Once they sink and you've achieved your desired water coloration, they are ready to be added to your setup.
