The palm tail spring is a product of the Borassus flabellifer palm tree.  It is native to South and Southeast Asia, and it's a palm tree of the Sugar palm group.  The palm tail springs have a unique spiral shape.  Three palm tail springs per package.

Preparation for Aquarium/Paludarium Use:

1. Boil: Boil the pods for at least 15 minutes to help them sink and leach initial tannins.

2. Soak: Soak in clean water overnight or longer if needed, changing the water daily, until they are fully waterlogged and the desired amount of tannin has been leached.

3. Ready to Use: Once they sink and you've achieved your desired water coloration, they are ready to be added to your setup.
