Sora Pods or sororoca clusters are the woody fruit capsules from the Strelitzia family of plants, which are related to the Bird of Paradise plant.  After the vibrant flower has withered, a hard, three-lobed capsule forms. As this capsule dries, it splits open to reveal the seeds, and the remaining structure becomes the decorative "sora pod." These pods are valued for their unique, architectural shape and durability.

Preparation for Aquarium/Paludarium Use:   

The bleached Sora pod is not safe for aquarium and bioactive terrarium use due to the bleaching process.  The natural Sora pod is appropriate for aquariums and terrariums.
